We wound up with some problems

I swear, with this beach house if it’s not 1 thing it’s another. If the window sealing is finally updated so that rain doesn’t come streaming in every time a warm front passes through, then you’d better guess the roof will Springtime a leak. If the washing equipment finally starts entirely working officially after numerous services by a professional, then the dishwasher will spontaneously stop draining the next day. It’s nonstop renovation around here, and every time 1 fire is put out, another 1 Springtimes up in its locale. Similarly, just when I thought we were through the expense and stress of cooling a large house all Summer, now it’s time to worry about the furnace. You see, we have central heating and cooling installed throughout the beach house which generally works just fine. The issue is, the temperature control is only accurate when you’re hanging out on the lower levels of the house, because it is a split level home, we have numerous distinct areas and numerous distinct air temperatures, to match. Our heating and cooling method creates a temperature gradient from the lowest level being the coldest air temperature to the highest floor having a much warmer degree. All Summer long we endlessly cool the beach house trying to drop the temperature on the top floor. Then, all Winter season long we run the furnace trying to heat up the lower floors. As such, every season we resort to running box fans throughout the house, channeling the treated indoor air through the poorly ventilated areas. As if it isn’t overpriced enough to run central heating and cooling systems most of the year, operating box fans and ceiling fans all day long to entirely disperse the conditioned air. The stresses of this beach house never end. .
