Valentine’s day is one of my favorite holidays of the year.
My boyfriend and I have been dating for five years now and it is a special time for us to get to show how much we love and appreciate each other. We normally plan something fun to do and this year will be no different. I like to go to a nice dinner and he just lets me plan the whole thing. Most girls want their boyfriends to pick out everything from the flowers they get to the restaurant they go to for dinner. However, I am not like that. I like to make sure everything is perfect and my boyfriend likes for me to take the lead. I have planned a dinner at the first place he every took me on a date, so I am hoping it will be a great evening. However, when we pulled up there was a HVAC technician truck parked outside and that should have been a sign. Once we entered the restaurant I could tell right away the HVAC system was out of order. It was extremely warm and all the patrons seemed like they were uncomfortable. I didn’t want to spend the entire meal sweating because the HVAC system wasn’t working, but I knew we would not be able to get another reservation on such short notice. I called around but no one had an opening. So, we ended up getting fast food on the way home. It turned out to be the most fun we have had yet on Valentine’s day, all thanks to the HVAC system not working.
