Lucy tried, she has but the old couple won’t listen to anything she says.
The main reason for this is that they want to see Jess.
She has been their Heating, Ventilation and A/C expert for the last 17 years and she has been out on maternity leave for about 4 weeks now. Mr and Mrs. Anderson needs their air filters changed but they want an expert opinion from Jess. She is an unbelievable heating and cooling expert, but she will not be able to help them for a while. Lucy is just afraid that in the next month or so their Heating, Ventilation and A/C system may start encountering concerns. Then the cost to repair or upgrade their Heating, Ventilation and A/C system could be far greater. She tried calling Jess to ask her to speak to them, however she did not answer. Knowing her, she turned off her work phone for a couple of months. Lucy does not blame her but she is trying to do her best for Mr and Mrs. Anderson. She told them she tried calling and Jess did not answer. They said if they do not hear from Jess then the air filters will not be touched. There isn’t much else Lucy can do but leave them with her number if they need help. She also told them that they can call the heating and cooling business to talk to someone else if they need to. Lucy tried one last time to explain the importance but they were firm on their decision. Jess must have made a big impression on them and that is amazing. If she ever decides to leave the Heating, Ventilation and A/C company, Mr and Mrs. Anderson will let their heating and cooling system break.
