It was hard to notice at first, but it seemed like over time, the heating and cooling efficiency in Leah’s home dropped.
This was pretty confusing, because her Heating and A/C equipment was nowhere near old.
So why the drop efficiency? Well, this was not a matter she could figure out herself, so Leah knew that it would be best if she contacted the heating and air conditioner professionals. When the A/C serviceman came out to her home, he told her the issue was obvious. For a moment Leah panicked and thought for sure it was an issue with the heating system or A/C. But no, it was just an issue with the air duct. Nothing major, might she add, it was just some holes in the air duct that were causing the issue. Luckily, this was a fairly easy fix, and the heating and A/C specialist did patch up the holes within two hours. The heated air was escaping through these holes, and so that explained why her home wasn’t heating or cooling as fast as it used to. But now with the holes patched up, the Heating and A/C equipment will be able to heat and cool like usual. Leah is glad she discovered this, because those holes were causing her A/C equipment to overwork itself, which can shorten its lifespan and cause damage. She was surprised that everything was as easy as it was. Leah was expecting a higher service bill. She is just glad that her air duct is repaired now.
