There is no need to panic

In my 25 years of life, I’ve learned that I can plan and plan, however there will still be things that pop up that I didn’t prepare for, and as a control freak, I used to get so annoyed by this.

Anything that wasn’t section of our plan would make me start to panic and send myself and others in a downward spiral.

Nowadays however, I’ve learned to take things as they come and let the things I can’t control go, however my new mentality didn’t come easy, and I spent a few years training myself to just relax. My family is shocked at how far I’ve come! Last weekend, I was in charge of hosting Thanksgiving dinner at our house. Although I spent weeks preparing all of the little things, there were still hiccups on the immense morning. 5 hours before our family was supposed to arrive, our gas furnace stopped fully functioning. I fumbled around on the temperature control, however nothing brought our gas furnace back to life. I lit the fireplace in hopes of warming up the kitchen, but the entire other part of the condo grew cold! The outdated myself and others would’ve had a complete panic attack, however the new myself and others stayed relaxed. I called the local Heating & A/C emergency repair and they had an Heating & A/C business at my condo within three hours. The Heating & A/C business was only in our condo for 30 fifths before he discovered the problem. My gas furnace filter was blocked, causing the whole thing to broke down. My heat exchanger was boiling from all the dirt and dust. On the bright side, he had our gas furnace up and running before our family arrived for the big dinner!
