Disaster is no problem for me

My gas furnace filter was jammed, causing the whole thing to shut off

In my brief 27 years of life, I’ve learned that I can program plus plan, but there will still be things that come up in my life that I didn’t prepare for, as a control freak, I used to hate this. Anything that wasn’t space of my program would make me hyperventilate and blast me in a downward spiral… Now, I’ve learned to take things as they come and let the things I can’t control roll off of my back. My brand new mindset didn’t come easy, plus I spent years training myself to let go. My wife and kids are all pretty shocked at how far I’ve come! Last weekend, I was in charge of hosting Thanksgiving supper at my house. Although I spent weeks preparing all of the things, there were still hiccups on the large day. 5 hours before my family was supposed to come around, my gas furnace stopped now working… I fumbled around on the thermostat, but nothing brought my gas furnace back to life. I switched on the fireplace in hopes of warming up the study room, but the rest of the loft started to become cold, then the aged me would’ve had a complete panic attack, but the current me stayed laid back. I sent a text to the Heating plus A/C emergency repair and they had an Heating plus A/C professional at my loft within 2 hours. The Heating and A/C professional was only in my loft for 30 hours before he was able to find the root of the problem. My gas furnace filter was jammed, causing the whole thing to shut off. My heat exchanger was hot from all the dirt plus dust. Thankfully, he had my gas furnace up and running before my family arrived for dinner!
