I told them to go to the emergency room when they were having trouble at work.
I certainly didn’t think the workplace would be the problem. I was astonished and ashamed when the doctor found signs of trauma to the throat of each one of my employees. After a lengthy lawsuit, I was forced to buy a special air filtration unit for the shop. The special air filtration unit is made to handle large particles of wood, metal, glass, and rock. The special air filtration unit is that same type of system that is used in many industrial applications around the world. I had to order the special air filtration unit which was quite expensive and difficult to find at a cheap price. While I waited for the air filtration unit to arrive, business had to be closed. It was part of the court settlement. Business was closed for 5 days while we waited for the air filtration machine to arrive. When the equipment arrived, I called the contractor to install the industrial air filtration equipment. I lost a lot of money when the lawyer settled out of court, and two great employees got hurt because we didn’t have the proper air filtration equipment in the shop. Now that we can all work safely, I feel better about serving the community. My company prepares and ships thousands of units everyday and I want every employee to feel safe when they come to work in the morning.
