Getting barefoot back in my life thanks to HVAC

This is when being barefoot came back into my life.

Where I grew up, I was always running around barefoot as a kid. The weather in that region was such that it made that possible much of the year. And I’m talking about outside because when I was inside, I was barefoot all the time. Then I went away to college and met a man that would end up being my husband. He was from up north and I was excited to give that region a try when we got married. It took a bunch of HVAC heating and some time to get accustomed to having a serious winter. But, I got used to it and we built our lives together right here. Of course, I went home to the south whenever I could. Yet, I never really longed to move back there. But I sure did miss the weather and the idea of going barefoot was nothing but a memory. My husband and I bought a house that would end up becoming the family home. Before I even knew what was happening, my kids were grown and that big house became too much. So we upgraded the HVAC and the kitchen in order to get the best price we could for it. With that money, we decided to build our first home and make it just enough for the two of us. This is when being barefoot came back into my life. We chose a geothermal HVAC system. The beautiful part about the heating method is that it’s transferred through radiant heat. And the source of the radiant heat are copper tubes underneath all the floors. That meant I was barefoot again!
