I assumed the plumber was still working on the problem, since there was still a repair service parked in front of the building.
I contacted the manager for the apartment community where I live. I had a problem with the shower and I wanted the issue fixed before I came home from work. I spoke with the manager around 8 in the morning. She was just arriving in the office, but I told her about the problem with the shower. I had 3 inches of standing water in the bottom of the tub when I left for work. The manager promised that she would contact the plumber and they would fix the problem before the end of the day. I called the manager at lunch time, so I could find out if the problem had been fixed. The manager told me that she was still waiting for the plumbing service to call her back. I asked the manager if the plumbing problem was going to be fixed before I got home from work and this time she did not seem very sure. When I pulled into the apartment complex, I saw a plumbing company truck in front of my apartment. I assumed the plumber was still working on the problem, since there was still a repair service parked in front of the building. I was going to contact the manager for an update, but there was no need to make the phone call once I realized that the plumber was still inside of my apartment. The guy was just finishing up with my repair. The water was gone from the shower and it looked clean. I don’t know what kind of drainage problem I was having, but the plumber fixed everything.
