While I am not an HVAC professional, I am darn good at fixing any issue that might arise when it comes to heating and cooling. Oddly enough, a few years ago, I had an issue with my furnace. While I had the money to call and have someone come repair the issue, I felt the need to look up how to repair it on my own. Even though I love working in an office, I sometimes get bored with the redundancy of daily office life. I am constantly looking for ways to learn something new and acquire new skills. In addition, I realized that I could save a lot of cash by learning how to repair our own Heating as well as A/C units. With my job, I didn’t actually have a need to save cash, but I liked learning stuff, as well as I thought that learning about Heating as well as A/C units would be fun. At first, I tried studying a ton of books about Heating as well as A/C units, however there were so many theories and texts to navigate given the variety of heating and cooling methods. For example, the type of repair you’d need to make on a furnace is not the same as something that you’d need to do to maintain baseboard heating. After looking through a series of books, I decided it would be easier to take an online course to become more aware of how to approach a variety of Heating as well as A/C units. Technically, I recognize that I am a certified Heating as well as A/C professional, but I have never worked in heating and cooling, so I am not sure if it counts. I just love fixing Heating as well as A/C units now. I am sure I am one of very few people who considers heating and cooling repair to be a hobby, but I really do get satisfaction out of finishing a project.
