When you’ve thought about, planned and strategized over something for years and years, you tend to sweat the details. That’s exactly how it went when we built our first home. The whole process took five years. And even then, there were things that we could have prepared for better. I think upgrading the HVAC equipment and doing the other projects to get the house on the market went well. But the actual packing and moving out process was just controlled chaos. Of course, we knew that we were building our home once we sold the old house. So we rented a condo. But going from a big home to a 2 bedroom condo was nightmarish. I’m still not sure what’s in storage but I’m about to find out I guess because our home is done. And we couldn’t be more pleased with the way everything turned out. Sweating all the details from the cabinets being just right to the quality heating and air was worth it. When it came to that quality heating and air, it took us months to find the sort of HVAC professionals we wanted to work with. But chasing that HVAC professional down sure paid off. This HVAC contractor has a passion for heating and cooling. It’s his aim to get us the sort of quality heating and air that we wanted. To his credit, we are enjoying the finest residential HVAC of our lives in this new house. Now if we can just get all that stuff out of storage and find a place for all of it.
