Sticking to working from home with new HVAC upgrade

But I called the HVAC company to have them install a ductless heat pump

So much in my life has changed in just the last two years. It’s almost hard to believe that my life is so different now. Of course, the impetus for all of the change was the pandemic. It took my life, turned it upside down and poured it all over the floor. The key part for me was to pick out the stuff that I wanted to keep and change the rest. When we were first told that working inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office was over, I could hardly believe it. That just didn’t seem possible. And how in the world was I going to work from home in my own air conditioning? I just couldn’t begin to figure out just how that would work. Of course, my husband had to come home to work from the quality heating and air or our house. And the kids were learning remotely. For the first month or so, I was just scrambling to figure out where and when I could work. We have a small home office that I initially tried to share with my husband. But that was sort of hit and miss. The room is just so small and it’s really sort of more man cave than it is office. So I ended up in a space at the end of the house that we use for storage. That’s because it’s just so hot in there as it gets direct sunlight heating all day, is at the end of the ductwork and is exposed on 3 sides. But I called the HVAC company to have them install a ductless heat pump. That turned everything around. In fact, I’m still working from that room this very day as remote working is the way it’s going to be from now on.
