I have lived with my bestie for about six months now, and however, before I moved in together I was living on my own for about two years, and i thought moving in with my bestie would be a good way to save some money and my pal and I were starting to get more extreme too. I absolutely love living with my bestie, but there is one thing that I absolutely miss about living on my own. I used to set the temperature control on my Heating & Air Conditioning system to whatever I wanted because I was paying for the electric bills, and now it’s a peculiar story… My bestie is entirely frugal with her money so I can’t just set the temperature control to whatever temperature I want. She makes me keep the temperature control set at seventy-five degrees which is brutal in the middle of the summer. I wish that my bestie would let me change the temperature of the temperature control because keeping it set to seventy-five degrees all year round is awful. She even makes me keep the temperature control at this temperature in the middle of the summer. If I was still living on my own I would have the a/c blasting at sixty degrees and kneel under the vents for hours just to cool off. I feel that it’s better to save money in the long run, however I absolutely miss my cooler Heating & Air Conditioning habits. I don’t know that I will ever get to live that way again, but it was absolutely nice while it lasted for those few years.
