My daughters are insane sometimes.
They are constantly fighting with each other all the time, however towards the end of the day, they love to relax & braid each other’s hair.
They don’t do this just anywhere either. They have a particular spot they like that is situated right beneath one of the HVAC ducts in our home. They love to set up a chair right there & then they get to talking & braiding, but if the air conditioner isn’t already on, they will head over to the thermostat & crank the cooling system back on. They love resting there as that cool air flows from the HVAC vent & they can spend up to an hour just talking & braiding away. It’s interesting because when they are doing this, they are never arguing about things. I think it’s when they are uncomfortable, that’s when they are fighting all hours of the day. I wonder each day if they had better air conditioning on an official basis, would they even fight? I don’t particularly know just what it is, I will never fully understand why they do what they do. I simply think that they like the air conditioner just like all of us do. They also love to spend time in front of the fireplace with the rest of us when we get a fire going in there. I would possibly say that some of our best moments together as a family have been in front of the fireplace. The two of us love roasting marshmallows & making s’mores too. They especially love to be in front of the fireplace not long after coming in from the snow in the Winter season weeks.
