My two amazing daughters are deranged periodically.
They are constantly fighting with each other all the time, however towards the end of the day, they really like to sing songs and braid each other’s hair. They don’t do this just anywhere either. They have a particular spot they like that is located right under one of the HVAC vents in our home. They love to set up a chair right there and then they get to talking and having fun, then if the air conditioner isn’t already on, they will head over to the thermostat and crank the on. They love resting there as that cool air flows from the HVAC vent and they can spend up to an hour simply talking and braiding away. It’s interesting because when they are doing all of this, they are never fighting. I believe it’s when they are uncomfortable, that’s when they are fighting all the time. I wonder periodically if they had better air conditioners on a very consistent basis, would they even fight? I don’t particularly think about what it is, I will never fully understand the reason that they do what they do. I just think that they like the air conditioner just like all of us do. They also love to spend time in front of the fireplace with the rest of us when all of us get a fire going in there. I could say that some of our best moments together as a family have been in front of the fireplace. The two of us love roasting marshmallows and making s’mores too. They especially love to be in front of the fireplace after coming in from the snow in the Wintertide months ahead.
