So I knew it was going to be hot.
There is no doubt that I was most aware of the fact that living in this region came with a really sizzling summer.
And for the most part, that was fine with me as I wanted the new promotion so much. It has been my deepest wish and desire to finally work in the zone controlled HVAC of the corporate offices. This was the desired destination when I came aboard this ship right out of college. And I spent a lot of time, energy and effort to do my best work over all those years. So when I was up for the position at corporate, I could barely contain my excitement. But that all paled in comparison to how I felt once I got the job. I was ready to move south that day. Still, I had to upgrade the HVAC equipment in my place in order to sell it. I’m a bachelor still so it’s not like I had a ton of stuff to move. Finding a new place in the south was pretty easy and with the new salary, I could afford a bit more. I’m just really lucky that I listened to the realtor when it came to residential HVAC. She told me that it was imperative that I get the sort of heating and cooling equipment that would be both reliable and efficient. There was about to be a lot of air conditioning in my future. But now, I’m here and it’s July. The heat is so intense that I’m very thankful to have the high SEER rating on the heat pump because I sure am leaning into more and more air conditioning.
