I don’t like the look of being the old guy who won’t change.

So, I’m sort of careful of what battle to pick when it comes to ceding ground to technology.

In my house and at work, technology is everywhere. From the zone controlled HVAC of the office to just listening to music in the quality heating and air of home comes with the need for technology. Honestly, I just get a bit worn out with all the time I spend engaging with screens and smart machines. Give me a sunset, a soft place to sit and the perfect breeze instead please. However, I’m not silly enough to think that I can get through my day without using some sort of tech device. Now, I could do that on my day off for sure. In fact, I purposefully spend a day, every now and again, without any sort of electronic gadget. I think it’s important to connect with the simplicity of life as well. However, I have to admit that adding some new HVAC technology to our home turned out to be just the ticket. We finally had the HVAC company out to install the smart thermostat we’ve been avoiding for some time. We upgraded the residential HVAC just a few years ago but are just now getting around to the smart thermostat part. I have to say that this piece of HVAC technology is a welcome addition to the HVAC unit and to our home. I love the fact that the smart thermostat is always managing the heating and cooling. And it does a far better job than I could ever do.
