We only got one hotel room so we could save on money. We paid about $70 for the room and we planned to stay for three nights. We were going to watch Jack graduate and then we plan to spend a couple of days hanging out with him. After that, he had to get ready to be deployed to a different country. When my sister and I first arrived and checked into the hotel, temperatures outside were in the 80s. They continue to get warmer and warmer and I wanted to turn on the AC unit in the hotel room. My sister was perfectly comfortable with the window open a small amount. When I attempted to adjust the temperature on the thermostat, my sister had a big problem. The two of us argued for 30 minutes before I decided to go down to the hotel lobby and get a room of my own. I have plenty of money in my wallet for the hotel room and I didn’t want to spend the next two days fighting with my sister about the indoor temperatures. I got a room of my own on the same floor and I had the ability to put the temperature anywhere that I wanted. My room was a comfortable 68 degrees on the thermostat. It was much cooler than the temperatures in the room where my sister was sleeping.
