I got dust all over in my bedroom

I have been updating my bathroom and it is a slow process, however I am always waiting for new fixtures and parts to ship, but my local hardware store runs out of a lot of the materials I need.

I also don’t like working in the bathroom everyday.

The gutting portion was just horrible. Taking down drywall, tile in and plumbing fixtures was messy. The amount of dust was disgusting. I tried to shelter my home office from the dust cloud however I didn’t have any success. I had to rush through the gutting portion since I didn’t want to wash and then have my room get dusty again. Once everything was all out and new things were just being put in, I allowed myself to clean. I had to scrub my carpets, sheets, curtains and all my clothing too. I also needed to wash the walls, ceiling fan and HVAC vents. Thank goodness I went up high and observed how gross it was inside my air duct. It occurred to me that my HVAC unit had been running the whole time while in the gutting process. I quickly turned off my heater and AC so that the dust in the air duct would not be spread from room to room. I instantly got the air ducts cleaned and completed so that I knew my home would stay fresh. This honestly was a bit premature now that I think about it. I will need to put up new drywall and mud the seams. There will be some sanding dust. I am hopeful I can keep it out of my HVAC and if I put towels under the door, out of my room.
