With all the changes my business has had to deal with, I’m amazed to see how good our company did this year.
The pandemic had most of us working from the Heating and Air Conditioning comfort of our own homes this year.
And, I was prepared for the worst year on record for our sales. However, I have really been amazed and happy with our sales this year. Everyone really pulled together. We all went the extra mile under our circumstances. This could not be better news for us. I was prepared to lose the lease on our offices! Yet, the opposite has happened. While we didn’t have to completely close the office, we did work in shifts so that we could social distance. Our office space is pretty much just a single big area with a few conference rooms with doors plus walls. The rest is wide open. And the disadvantage of this has been the Heating and Air Conditioning. It’s fairly difficult to find an Heating and Air Conditioning setting that is agreeable to 30 people. So, I am updating the Heating and Air Conditioning up as both a reward for such great work this past year and as a sign that we will get back to work as usual this coming year! I had the Heating and Air Conditioning people come into the office to convert the existing Heating and Air Conditioning over to a zone control scheme. Now, there will be 4 independent temperature zones. Each zone will have its own thermostat plus it will be completely customizable. I guess the staff will love it so I’m happy to provide it!
