For years now I have been in a constant battle with my asthma and other allergies. I haven’t been able to stand it the entire time. I don’t exactly enjoy having to be aware of pollen counts and other debris that might cause a flare-up upon inhalation. Since I have such serious allergy problems, I make a point to book appointments with my local HVAC company for a technician to come out and clean my ducts regularly. The cleaning of my ducts and vents really helps with my allergies. The HVAC technician comes in and sucks out a lot of the dirt and dust that finds its way into my vents and causes me trouble. I find myself already breathing better before the HVAC technician has even left my house. During my last duct cleaning appointment, the HVAC technician started talking to me about air purification systems for the whole house. He said some of the purifiers they have on the market now are designed to work alongside my current heating and cooling equipment. Having an air purifier that went on and off with my HVAC equipment sounded like a miracle to me. He also brought up the good point that installing an air purification system might mean less duct cleaning appointments. In that sense, installing an air purifier could save me a lot of money in the long run. I am so grateful that my HVAC technician brought up air purifiers!
