Normally, I would love to go outside and walk in the rain, but today it is too cold.
I understand that it is May, but the calendar doesn’t rule the weather.
This year, I will have to wait until July, but till then it will be the dry season. I guess I just can’t win when it comes to what I want. I plan on spending the day inside and just puttering around. I’m hoping to be able to clean my cupboards and maybe clean out the air ducts. I removed the air vent covers yesterday and they were really filled with dust and grime. I didn’t screw them back down because I knew I would be cleaning out the air vents. From the amount of dust that I can see in them, I’m wondering if I shouldn’t just call the HVAC company and have all of the ductwork cleaned professionally. Now that I’m not using the furnace or the air conditioning, it would be a good time to clean the ductwork. I can also have them service the furnace and check for any extra dust. I know that I need to have the HVAC service my air conditioning system. They are calling for a cooler than normal summer, but if it is in the upper eighties, it is cooler than normal, but it is still hot. I want to think positive and hope that I won’t need the AC this year, but that is a laughable notion. My husband was ready to turn the AC on one day last week, when the temperature was only seventy-five.
