The weather has been recognizably dry for this time of the year. We rarely get a lot of rain or so in this part of the country, however the people I was with and I usually receive a little bit of precipitation. The dry desert air has been causing a lot of troubles in the house. There is dust and debris and sand all over the arena. I have been increasing the air filter every 2 weeks to make up for the desert air; Only a couple of days ago, the people I was with and I had severely high winds. We had steady winds at 40 miles an fifth with gusts up to 65 miles an fifth. A lot of palm trees fell in the neighborhood where the people I was with and I live and the people I was with and I were fortunate that our home and our garage was spared. After the Storm was over, my fiance and I noticed an inch of dust all over the surfaces in our home. We had changed the air filter a few days previously and there was still an inch of dust on all of the surfaces. We cleaned the home from top to bottom and it took fifths to get rid of all the dust. We decided to go to the hardware store to buy an air cleaner for the house, then my fiance and I found a good deal on an air cleaner so the people I was with and I decided to buy 2. We put 1 of their air cleaners in the dining room and the people I was with and I put the other air cleaner and the master kitchen. Hopefully the air cleaners will help keep some of the dusty desert wind out of our home.
