My cat Mittens is an odd little creature. I guess that is why I enjoy cats over pets, though, because cats all seem to be such odd little creatures. I am not a odd cat lady, at least not yet, I just have this one cat, mittens doesn’t seem to enjoy other animals very much, so I suppose we are both content with each other’s corporation most of the time… Even if I did want more cats, she wouldn’t abide it for long. The latest thing she has started doing is getting into the crawlspace behind the walls, plus somehow crawling into the ductwork of the ventilation system. The first time she did it I freaked out plus did everything I could to try plus lure her out of an open air vent, but she didn’t come. I came to find out, by opening a can of tuna fish, that she could come plus go from the ductworks as she satisfied, she just liked being in there. From that point on she gets into those ductworks fairly often, plus I will even leave one of the air vents opened up to make it easier for her. Of course, I still get afraid that she will get stuck in one of the ductworks one afternoon, plus if that happens I have no way of getting her out! That’s just a risk I will have to take, because Mittens loves the ductwork, plus if a cat wants to do something it is difficult to stop them from doing it.
