I have yet to meet somebody who doesn’t like owning a heating system of some sort. Regardless of whether you have a furnace, boiler, radiator heater, or radiant heated flooring, you probably cannot live without your heating system. However, I would like to add that the radiant heated floors are the best heating system that you could ever have in your home for multiple reasons. Radiant heated flooring removes any draft or cold areas in your house because you have a heater in any area where you have a floor. The heat is not forced or created with fire, which means that radiant heated flooring doesn’t make the air in your house dry. Radiant heated flooring also forces you to update the flooring in your house to hardwood floors, which means that you will be getting rid of that ugly carpet that you have always wanted to replace. However, there are even simpler reasons for using radiant heated flooring over anything else. Radiant heated flooring warms the floors, which means that your feet will be toasty when you place them on the ground in the morning. You will never have cold feet again. Your radiant heated flooring will actually heat anything on the ground. Recently, I discovered that if I put my coffee cup on the ground next to the couch, the floors will keep my coffee warm! Can your HVAC unit do that? In fact, the radiant heated flooring will keep it warm for the entire morning, which means I won’t have to microwave it if I forget to drink it. It is literally the best heating system ever.
