I work in SEO and I guess how to market Heating, Ventilation, and A/C businesses; My mother recently self published a book and he wants to get more people seeing and reviewing his book; Since I work in internet advertising, I should be able to help his out! I instantly built his a website with his book on it and attachs to his social media pages. She has a twitter, facebook and an instagram account now that his fans can check out, and now I need to find a way to get people seeing his book on amazon, goodreads and other reader platforms, and with Heating, Ventilation, and A/C businesses, I use SEO tactics by targeting keywords. So when someone types in oil furnace repair for their area, a particular Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier will show up on page one of google! There is also spend money per click advertising… You spend money to rank in the top few spots of google every time someone clicks on it. There are similar things like this with goodreads and amazon. I have helped my mother take out ads on both platforms that were PPC style. So far that hasn’t done the trick. I am wondering if I need to get his into book groups and then promote his book that way. I believe because most readers don’t google top romances, but rather search for them on actual reader sites. I believe that is what is hindering me. I have never needed to get fantastic at promoting on goodreads before.
