The salon where I usually go ended up being closed Last year for repairs. I was thrilled to see that they were closed because the last time I drove over there, the a/c was broken & the inside of the salon felt prefer the inside of a gas furnace. I don’t suppose why the temperature inside there was so hot except for the fact that they are using a massive amount of hair dryers & curling irons in there that undoubtedly raise the temperature in the building somewhat, and the sunshine was blazing in their front plate glass windows undoubtedly raises the temperature quite a bit as well. With that being said, when I was trying to get my hair done, the temperature was just unbearable, however they had me underneath one of those full hair dryers to get my colors to set & since I was wearing one of those big capes around me to keep the hair off my neck & my clothes, I was dripping with sweat way too much! The hair stylist told me that their a/c was broken & the Heating & Air Conditioning company hadn’t been able to come in to do the a/c repairs yet. I told her that for her sake, I was praying that they would come soon! I mean, I could get my hair done & just leave, however she had to stay in that humid building all day and night with no running a/c! What a bad task to have when it’s too hot. I feel itchy just thinking about all the curly hair that would be sticking to you if you’re trying to task when you’re dripping with sweat prefer crazy. It was yucky!
