My first few years as a truck driver were non-stop. I would take every long haul I could get, plus work until the bosses made me take a little time off to rest, then driving was our life, plus I think it still is, however back then the people I was with and I drove prefer a bat out of hell, prefer I was trying to outrun something. As an older man, now I have l acquired to relax, slow down, plus like the journey. The endpoints are regularly the same, however the drive there is regularly different, you dig? I can drive through any kind of weather, any kind of terrain, however if the undefined in our truck ever breaks down, that is the end of the road for me. I can handle any obstacle the road throws in front of me, however once the undefined isn’t cooling down the cab of our truck I will drive straight to a mechanic plus nowhere else. Without that A/C I don’t drive a mile, I just wait for it to get back up to snuff plus then return to the road. The funny thing is that I am not even sure why this is, there is just something about the frosty air blasting through the air vents that keeps me awake plus focused on the road. Without the A/C our mind wanders plus I get sleepy, which is the worst condition in which to drive a truck. Some gentlemen prefer coffee, some gentlemen eat pep pills, however me all I do is crack down the air plus I am great to drive for a while.
