I live in an section of the country with fairly mild winters plus hot, humid summers. During the winter, the outside temperature rarely drops below forty degrees, plus the people I was with and I never see snow. This process eliminates the need to burn fossil fuel to generate heat. There’s no sizzling surface, fumes, fear of sparks or danger of carbon monoxide. The heat pump provides a safe, clean plus energy efficient source of year round temperature control. Because the system handles both heating plus cooling, plus is quite complex, the purchase price plus cost of upgrade is rather high. They are way more high-priced than a conventional cooling system. But, it’s only necessary to purchase the one unit, plus this simplifies the demands of maintenance. While electric heat pumps are a major investment, the system will respectfully spend my money for itself through energy savings. Plus, a heat pump provides actually even comfort, quiet operation, plus exceptional indoor air quality.
