I would have to come back later.
I woke up early this morning. There were some things I needed to get done before I actually clocked in at work. I had quite a lot of things to prepare for an upcoming event. My alarm went off and I wish that it hadn’t. I let it go off twice before I even thought about getting out of bed. I finally got out of bed and instantly got back in. I was freezing cold. There was no way I was going to get out of bed like that. I needed to make a quick dart for my robe. I actually took my blankets with me. I was feeling like I needed something to keep me warm. My house was much like the arctic tundra. Of course, I ran right for the thermostat. I needed to turn that sucker up. Well when I got there, the thermostat was shut off. I could not even turn it on. I knew this was not good. I called my HVAC company. Luckily, they had just opened when I was waking up before work. I told them my problem and I was going to need a brand new thermostat. This was not a good start to my day. I took a very hot shower and got dressed in the bathroom. I was out of the door as soon as I could get there. The HVAC professional could not come until later in the day. I would have to come back later. When I i’d come back though, It was just as cold feeling. Thankfully the HVAC professional would take care of the broken thermostat. I waited snuggled in my bed for the HVAC technician to come.
