It was perfect.
When I got my first real job inside the zone controlled HVAC of the corporate offices where I work, I started saving my money. Going off to college came with a certain freedom when it came to not living under my parent’s roof. But the four years inside the dorms and all that radiant heating wasn’t exactly super appealing aside from the freedom. Moving into an apartment with old, worn down HVAC equipment was my next step and that too was less that stellar. So I put away as much of my paycheck as I could so I could finally get a place of my own where the residential HVAC was on point. I have finally succeeded in doing just that. However, it’s not quite the way I had envisioned it. For one, I saved for 12 years and wasn’t even close to having enough for a down payment on a house. And I didn’t see getting married on the horizon so the chance that I would be able to pool my money to get a house was limited at best. That’s when I found the tiny home situation. At first, I thought I’d just be so claustrophobic being in a tiny home. Then I visited one. It was perfect. And I had a great situation as my folks had a piece of land that I could put the tiny house on. I for sure got the outstanding quality heating and air I always wanted with the ductless heat pump the HVAC company installed in my tiny home. It’s just the perfect situation for me and I couldn’t be happier.
