My ladies were consistently getting into it with each other for weeks after the people I was with and I bought this house. I thought giving them their own rooms would put an end to a lot of the squabbling. While this did help, it still caused the issue of who got to have the upper floor heated to what temperature. While my fiance in addition to I are pretty triumphant to just put on a sweater or grab a blanket it the people I was with and I get a little freezing, the ladies consistently want to turn up the heating. They complain that they’re still so small that they get a lot colder than my hubby in addition to I do, which is absolutely not wrong by any means. However, not all of the ladies appreciate it quite so hot. The result is three children who constantly complain about the temperature of their home offices. I don’t guess why I thought having just 1 thermostat for each floor would be enough for this house when I moved in, but in the end my fiance in addition to I decided the only way to but an end to the fighting was to just add more Heating in addition to A/C zone control. So instead of having 1 per floor, the people I was with and I have 1 for the downstairs floor, in addition to the 1 for each of the four home offices upstairs. The rule is that each child gets to program their thermostat with mom in addition to dad once, in addition to after that they can’t touch it. This way they aren’t just cranking the heat in addition to over difficult the furnace. Now the ladies rooms are set to their own temperature control preferences, in addition to the fighting is finally at its end.
