When my gas heating system was having some issue, I decided to ask my buddy Brian to evaluate the problem. Brain has has been working in the Heating, Ventilation and A/C industry for a long time. Brian plus I go way back. After grade school, we went to the same trade school. Brian became a certified in the Heating, Ventilation and A/C technician. My buddy also works for a really good company. So anytime I need HVAC service done, he is the man to call. Unfortunately, Brian has been real busy at work. My buddy has not had much time to come to the house plus look at our gas heater. Brian was going to come over last weekend, but he could not due to being sick. Then Brian was going to come by on Tuesday night, but then his son had to come home from school because of an issue. I know these are not my friend’s fault, but the lack of heating situation is getting to be dire. My wife wants to contact a town Heating, Ventilation and A/C dealer. She wants to call them in the morning, and hopefully they will be able to fit us in for an appointment. I don’t really want to call Brian and tell him we are hiring his competition to do a heater repair. It seems really mean to do this to my friend. But, how long am I supposed to wait on a heating repair? My wife and I can only go without heating for so long.
