My boyfriend and I live in a three-bedroom trailer. The trailer is a very long single wide. The trailer is on the property where my mom and dad reside, but we are almost 2 football fields from the main house. It’s 30 years old, but the inside of the trailer has been remodeled. My boyfriend worked really hard during the remodel. The guy is super handy. That’s one of the reasons why I fell in love with him. I was impressed when he was able to fix my dad’s lawn mower. That’s how we met in the first place. The guy was mowing lawns for a couple of bucks. Since he didn’t have a lawnmower, he had to use machinery from the customer. My dad’s lawn mower broke when the guy used it for the job. My dad told the kids not to worry, because there were already problems with the lawn mower. The young guy fixed the lawn mower instead. My dad was really impressed and offered that guy a job working at his HVAC company. My boyfriend didn’t know the first thing about HVAC work back then, but now he’s kind of an expert. After three years of working with my dad, my boyfriend is now a certified HVAC service technician. He can work from anywhere at any time, but he honestly still works for my dad. Unless they have a falling-out, I think John will probably work for my dad for a long time. That is perfectly fine with me, because I know we will always have a paycheck as long as John works for my dad.
