My wifey and I obtained our lake house back in 1985.
It was aged then, but all of us loved the beautiful backyard and view of the lake.
My wifey and I vowed that all of us would maintenance up the lake house with all of our extra money. We were going to build a treehouse in the backyard and a deck to the lake. We had immense plans for the aged fixer upper! Unfortunately, all of us had many kids really swiftly and all of us never had a lot of extra money. We did not maintenance the porch when the boards were cracked and falling apart. We did not maintenance the cellar wall, when the foundation was crumbling. When the boiler needed to be repaired, I did not have the money to pay for the heating service and the welder. I decided to service the boiler on our own. I read a lot of manuels and pamphlets, and I looked up many different videos online. I did not have the right parts to complete the job, but I found something effective that worked well. I guess the boiler service service was going to charge me $790 to maintenance the boiler, but I spent a lot less money doing it myself. The service will hopefully last another year or several. I’m hopeful that I will be able to get a loan from our 401k at that time to complete a bunch of renovations around the house. There are about $10,000 worth of repairs that need to be made in the house. Between the porch, roof, foundation, and now the boiler, all of us have a lot of expenses to consider in the near future.
