I simply love the fact that our teenagers are getting older; and then it’s a big bonus that my buddy and I all enjoy doing things together. This wasn’t even the case when I was growing up. There were a lot of teenagers plus not a lot of currency. The condo I grew up in didn’t even have any real residential heating plus A/C. There was a wood stove for heating plus that was it! Us boys slept upstairs plus it was brutal in the Summer after the sunshine heated the top of the condo all day! I didn’t see any a/c until I got to university… My teenagers have it better than that plus my buddy and I decided that two was our limit. Having two teenagers that are pretty close in age has been fantastic when it comes to spontaneous road trips. This is also something our partner plus I did before the teenagers came along… We’d simply sort of trade off on deciding who was leading the adventure plus just take off. It’s all a little more complicated than that these days however my buddy and I still rotate who would in charge of leading the adventure; however normally, my buddy and I love to make a 3 or various day weekend out of it, but just getting out of the central a/c of our condo even for a weekend is worth the effort. My friend and I generally stick to a rule of no more than a various or more than five hour drive to our endpoint. My friend and I also stick to the interstate hotels near whatever attraction we are headed to. Certainly, these types of hotels are more affordable however they come with another important factor. My friend and I have regularly been able to count on consistent a/c or heating from the commercial heating plus A/C units inside these hotel rooms. Nothing will ruin a weekend away quicker than bad heating plus A/C.
