I had a entirely fun time when I went to visit our sister in her modern city. After graduation, she accepted a full time position & moved only a week into her “summer time getaway.” Thankfully, she was able to secure an modern home on such short notice, but when I saw the modern home for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised with her venue, it was only 1 home office & 1 bath, however in good condition & perfect for her needs. While we were talking 1 night, she mentioned that she loved the venue, however there was 1 immense disadvantage, and she was paying a luck for her yearly energy costs! She expected her energy costs to be high due to the utility company being a monopoly, however not this high. I agreed that this was a huge problem, however knew there was nothing I could do to help, but that night, our sister let myself and others sleep in her room while she slept on the couch; During the middle of the night, I woke up feeling cold, so I found some extra blankets to keep warm. A little while later, I heard the rain coming down outside, however it sounded entirely loud & clear! Out of curiosity, I opened the blinds on the window above me. My curiosity was right, because the window was open, which is why I could hear the rain so clearly & why I was cold! I told our sister the next day about the open window, which was causing her energy costs to skyrocket even more than normal. All the heat & air was escaping through the open window, making her Heating & A/C proposal run harder & longer.
