Today is a lot different than yesterday.
When I say that I am talking about the decades that have gone by and how life and technology has changed all around.
Some for the better, some for the worst. But one type of technology that has changed for the better is heating and air conditioning technology. Today’s heating and air conditioning technology makes achieving indoor comfort a lot easier than it used to be. For instance, almost everyone has central heating and air conditioning today. Even if you are poor you have central heating and air conditioning. When I was growing up if you were poor or middle class average there was no way you could have central heating and air conditioning. Central HVAC systems were for the rich and for commercial buildings and businesses only! That is how pricey they were in the 1970’s and 1980’s. This all changed somewhere in the mid to late 1990’s when everyone was able to afford central heating and air conditioning. Even low income apartments had central heating an air conditioning in them. This is the new way of today when it comes to central heating and cooling. It is now for everyone and anyone. It is rare you will see window air conditioning systems anymore unless it is is someone’s personal office space or a very small old house that does not have the ductwork for central heating and air conditioning. But other than that, central heating and air conditioning is everywhere! I am so glad we have what we do today.
