When you listen you learn. And when you learn, well, you could end up having a whole career ahead of you depending on what you are learning and why. But the main thing is that listening makes success! This was the case when I went to heating and air conditioning school to become a certified heat and a/c specialist. I made sure to listen very carefully and pay full attention to everything that was going on. It is not like high school where most of the stuff you are forced to learn will do you no good in life and you can just drift away wishing you were somewhere else, or even snooze in class. Going to school for a trade like the heating and air conditioning business you need your full attention always in order to have success in passing the final exam which says if you made it or not. When that day came at heating and air conditioning school, I was confident that I was going to pass and I did in fact end up passing the final heating and air conditioning school exam with flying colors! This was because I listened and payed attention to the entire class from beginning to end every single day I was there. Today I am a well paid heating and air conditioning specialist for one of our local heat and a/c companies. And I would have never done it had I not paid attention in heating and cooling school and most of all, listened to everything!
