The construction crew has been working nonstop for weeks

Someone bought the space next to the office building where I work.

About many weeks later, a construction crew started removing all of the trees from the property.

As soon as the construction crew started removing trees, there was dust, dirt, and lots of sawdust in the air outside of the building. Eventually the debris made its way into our office building and the air was heavily polluted. I found it hard to breathe when I was outside and inside of the building wasn’t much better. Several co-workers and I went to the human resources department to complain about the indoor air conditions. The following week there was a memo from the head office about the indoor air conditions and the construction next door. The office supervisor didn’t seem too concerned about our complaints and they failed to buy or rent an whole-house air purifier to help while in the rest of the construction process. Eventually the indoor air conditions became unbearable for some of us with allergies. I found it hard to breathe at times and I had to take an allergy pill every day before coming to work. One of the executives had an asthma attack in the office and abruptly all of the rules changed. The next day there was an whole-house air purifier at the front door of the building along with many whole-house air purifiers strategically located throughout the building. There was an SMS from the vice president of the company apologizing for not doing something about the indoor air conditions sooner. It shows us who is crucial to the company.
