Renting a home is so much better than owning in my opinion. Sure, I know that on a monthly basis, it is so much cheaper to own your own house. I also know that it is financially more secure to own your own house, and it provides much more stability. However, if you don’t have the ability to fix everything in your house, you will quickly find out how expensive it is to own your own house. I used to own my own house, and I regretted it. Now, I rent. When I owned my own house, one of my biggest causes of frustration was the HVAC units. I absolutely hated the HVAC units. Unless you have brand new HVAC units, you are going to spend a fortune making sure that your HVAC units work properly. HVAC technicians charge outrageous prices to fix HVAC units, and there is a ton of maintenance required for HVAC units. I spent a lot of money on my HVAC units, and I decided to move out before I had to buy new HVAC units. NowNOw, I rent a house. Sure, it is more expensive to rent. However, when my HVAC unit stops working, it is not my responsibility to call the HVAC technician to fix my HVAC unit. I don’t have to deal with the HVAC technician or pay the surprising bills that they give. The lack of stress of having to deal with my HVAC units makes renting awesome. If you know how to fix your own HVAC units, maybe buying a house is great for you. If you have a ton of money and never have to worry about your HVAC units, maybe owning a house is right for you. However, if you are like me, then you will rent just so that you do not have to deal with the HVAC units.
