Ever since I retired I have tried to find ways to keep myself active. I have seen too various of my friends age quickly because they rest around doing nothing but watching cable as well as complaining about life. The way I see it, I worked all of those years to be able to afford to care about my time as well as I plan on doing just that. The only issue I seem to have is the fact that I don’t transfer around as quickly during the colder months. It just seems to take me longer to get warm if I spend any time outside so I tried to come up with projects I can do in the house where it is warm. I turned one of the small study room said my house into a craft room as well as I spend much of my days there. I care about to craft as well as there are a few small craft shows that I like to participate in as well as this gives me a little extra income as well. When my friend and I were setting up the space I mentioned to my hubby that I would like to have an additional heat source in there to keep me comfortable while I was working, she did not like the idea of one of those portable boilers because she thought I would forget to turn it off so she contacted our HVAC supplier to see if there was something odd my friend and I could use. She recommended that my friend and I install a small gas heating system that could hang on the wall as well as be controlled by a control unit. It’s actually pretty cool because I can adjust it with a remote as well as even said a timer for what time my friend and I wanted it to turn off. This solved the problem of me being too freezing as well as put my hubby’s mind at ease about the safety of the added heat source.
