Not all germs are bad

My husband and I have decided to do this with our own children, we are still doing the best to keep our house clean and protect everyone around us, however, we try to let our kids be kids and play outside

With the pandemic in full swing, more and more people are concerned with protecting themselves. People are taking many more precautionary measures. These include doing things like buying whole home air purification systems and HEPA filters. This has also led people to start cleaning their homes much more, and cleaning and protecting yourself is good. However, there is always too much of a good thing and if you clean too much you could actually be doing some harm. It is true that not all germs are bad, and being exposed to some can actually help you stay healthier because your immune system learns to fight it off. Some research shows that kids may be healthier when allowed to play with dirt and get dirty, there is a lesser chance of developing asthma and allergies. I decided to do this with my own kids. My husband and I have decided to do this with our own children, we are still doing the best to keep our house clean and protect everyone around us, however, we try to let our kids be kids and play outside. We don’t want to stay locked inside the house all day, and so we try to get outside and into fresh air and not have to rely on the air conditioning inside the house. We do our best to social distance and go places that are not too busy. This strategy so far has been working very well for us, and we will continue to do the best we can until all of this comes to an end.
