I remember a long time ago when I saw an ad for ductwork cleaning and I briefly considered going for it.
It seemed to be like a pretty good price but I never ended up calling the HVAC company. Then a few years later, I still never had the ductwork system cleaned and started thinking about it again. Something that was bothering me was the fact that our bedroom wasn’t getting the heating or A/C. It was always feeling frosty in the winter and overheated in the summer. So I finally got a hold of the HVAC company and told them that I suspected I might have a clog in my HVAC ducts. When they asked me when was the last time I had the ductwork system cleaned, it actually had been a very long while and I was embarrassed to admit that. Still, at least I had the ductwork cleaning scheduled. When it was finally over and done with, I actually wasn’t too mad about the cost. Also, my air quality improved a great deal and the balance of heating and cooling in my bedroom felt nice again. It turned out that I was right about the ductwork system being clogged up and I’m happy that I had that problem fixed. It’s so much easier to get sleep at night with the A/C system working just right. I guess it was an obvious problem though seeing as how it had taken me so long to have the ductwork system cleaned. I was even starting to sneeze and have my nose sniffle often. Those are problems of the past though.
