My thermostat was going bad, I just knew it.
I could tell by the way my air conditioning unit was acting erratically.
Unable to stay on for long periods of time, turning itself on and off randomly. Overall the home was getting heated or cooled efficiently. However, the biggest give away was the fact that the thermostat was giving wrong readings and not responding when I would try to change the temperatures. The screen itself on the dial thermostat was becoming faded, and it had all of the signs of going bad. I have never had a thermostat issue before, but I knew this meant that I would have to go and get a new one. Figuring that the best place to get the new thermostat would be a heating and cooling store, I immediately started to browse the online website of the 3 closest HVAC corporations. I was amazed at how much variety in thermostats they had. I kind of figured there would be one or two types, but to my surprise there were many to choose from. I had a difficult time deciding on which one to go for, judging by prices and reviews. I eventually decided to get a smart thermostat, because the smart thermostat definitely had the best reviews. After buying the smart thermostat and being given tracking information less than a day later, I am supposed to have the new thermostat by this weekend. I am eager to get this thermostat, because it will fix a lot of my problems.
