Everyone has to have a hobby or something they enjoy, right? I have had many over the years, and recently, I just got into a new one. Forever now, I have been interested in the whole aspect of heating and air conditioning repair. I never did go to school to become a certified heating and air conditioning specialist. The reason I did not do that, was because I really wasn’t sure if that was a steady enough career for me. After thinking about this for a while, I decided to go dumpster diving and look for broken down old heating and air conditioning units. This way, as I find these broken central heating and air conditioning units, I can take them home to my garage and work on them. That is my new hobby! So far, I have on my own repaired 2 of the 4 central heating and air conditioning systems I found while dumpster diving. That is 50 percent success! I would say that is not bad at all for an average everyday guy like myself. With having absolutely no training or certification in the air conditioning and heating repair business, I think I deserve a pat on the back for doing this! I also have repaired a few old window air conditioning units as well. The window air conditioning units were not as hard to repair as the central heating and air conditioning units. Who knows, eventually, if I keep this up, I may actually go back to school to study for becoming a certified HVAC specialist! I could work as an HVAC contractor part time and get paid!
