My husband wanted to put in radiant heated flooring in our house because I have really cold feet all the time. I know that the fact that my feet are so cold all the time really annoys him because he yells and hollers whenever I put my feet on him in bed at night. Of course I do it every night whenever I get into bed when I need to get my feet warmed up. It really bugs him and sometimes I have to admit that I just do it to get a rise out of him. I know that’s childish but sometimes he likes to annoy me for no reason, too. I think that when you have been married for as long as we have, you have to keep things fresh by playing with each other and joking around sometimes. Anyway, he has gotten really irritated by the fact that I put my cold feet on him so much and so that’s why he decided that he wants to get radiant heated flooring installed in the house. I think that it’s going to cost way too much money to have radiant heated cooling installed, but if that’s what he wants to do then I am not going to fight him on it. I wouldn’t mind having radiant heated flooring as our main heating system, that’s for sure. I think that it would be really nice to be able to not worry about having freezing cold feet all the time! I think that radiant heated flooring is supposed to be really energy efficient once you get them installed, too.
