I feel very lucky to have a husband that is great with his hands. My husband is a white-collar office executive. He isn’t the type of person that might typically be able to make home repairs. My husband is super smart. Even though he is an advertising executive, he is still great with his hands. He can fix just about any household problem. Last year we had a problem with the furnace. I was ready to pick up the phone and call a repair service. My husband told me to wait. He was sure he could troubleshoot the problem and fix it. He was 100% correct. He did fix the furnace and saved the two of us an expensive repair call. Since my hubby takes care of all of the problems with our AC and furnace, I call him whenever there is trouble. Last Tuesday I was home all day with the kids. It is currently summer break and the kids do not have school. Some days they spend their time outside playing and other times they spend all day in the house. I rarely have to tell the kids to go outside and play to get some exercise. They really do like being outdoors, thankfully. The kids and I were at home and the indoor temperature started to get warmer and warmer. I adjusted the thermostat, but that did not help. Eventually I only felt warm air coming out of the vents and I knew we were in trouble. I called my husband at work and I told him about the AC problems. He was stuck at the office until very late that night, so he told me to contact a repair service.
