My grandma moved into a nursing home several months ago

I spoke with some of the staff and we decided that we were going to get a small window unit air conditioning system to put it into my grandma’s room so that she could keep cool in her own room

My grandma, who I love more than just about anything, moved herself into a nursing home several months ago because she needed a lot of extra help. I told her that I would take care of her at home, but she said that she would rather be in a home with a lot of other elderly people where she could make new friends. I told her that I understood that, but I also told her that I would take care of her if there were ever any problems. So when she called me and told me that there were issues at the nursing home with the heating and cooling system, I went right over there to visit her and to find out what the problem was. My grandma started complaining about how they keep the thermostat settings in the nursing home cranked up to 80 degrees all the time. My grandma told me that she is just too far all the time and she did not know what to do about it. Anytime she complained about it, the other residents would say that they were cold and they did not know what she was talking about. I guess my grandma just doesn’t have the same cold nature that most of these people have. I spoke with some of the staff and we decided that we were going to get a small window unit air conditioning system to put it into my grandma’s room so that she could keep cool in her own room. She said that any other time that she was out and about throughout the home, she would just have to deal with the hot temperatures.
