Last year was the hottest Summer season on record and it was unbelievably hot. Nobody in our family had experienced quite as much heat as what happened this previous year. Every one of us in the family all spent nights packed like sardines around our a/c, which was completely cranked up at all times. Then, any chance that showed itself during those hot days, we all would go to the public buildings to visit their cooled facilities. Even the public pool was just not an option, unfortunately. Not only was it completely packed with swimmers and others trying to beat the heat, it was also even too hot for us to take the trip to get to the pool. It was an absolute danger to our health and I wasn’t going to chance going out in this heat. So, this year both of us wisely opted to prepare better for this hot weather. Since our Heating, Ventilation plus A/C plan was fairly recent, we didn’t want to get a new one and opted to give it a good cleaning instead. In any case, both of us wanted to make sure it would be able function well through the entire summer. Before the summer was upon us, we called for an examination of our whole Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system. We thoroughly cleaned and changed the air filters if needed and bought a few more just in case. Now with a very clean air conditioner and new filters, we’re ready for whatever summer weather comes our way.
